Aggie Theatre Seating Chart

Aggie Theatre has room for 650-guests. Space is provided on a general admission basis, usually with standing room only. There may be limited seating available at the bar, though those spaces are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Acoustics are designed to give crisp clean sounds from all parts of the venue. And the design is such that you should have a clear view of the stage from anywhere in the room.

If you require ADA-approved accommodations, you should call the venue as soon as possible. If you require ADA-approved accommodations or emergency ADA-seating, then please be sure to contact the venue as soon as possible. You may contact the venue at 970.482.8300.

The Aggie Theatre operates primarily as a general-admission, standing-room venue for up to 650 guests. You won’t likely find assigned seats or traditional theater seating arrangements. Instead, the venue encourages dynamic positioning and encourages each guest to find their ideal viewing spot.

The Main Floor Standing Area

The main floor is large and has different levels. It provides the most immersive concert experience at the Aggie Theatre, as you can position yourself close to the stage for an intimate view of the performers or slightly back for a better wide-angle view. The front area gets packed during popular shows, creating a high-energy atmosphere and crowds that move with the beat.

The floor slopes gently toward the stage, a remnant from the building’s movie theater days, ensuring that you can more easily see over the heads of those in front of you. The graduated elevation certainly proves beneficial during sold-out performances if you’re near the back, although early arrival can secure you a better position. Since the general admission format rewards guests who arrive early with prime viewing locations, you should plan to enter when the doors open to get into the front rows.

Whether you’re in one of the pit areas or elevated main floor levels, the atmosphere thrives off the collective energy. Expect your fellow audience members to dance, sing along, and engage actively with the performance.

The Balcony Level

In recent years, the venue added a balcony level to overlook the main floor. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of the stage and see the entire crowd below. Many guests enjoy the balcony railing position, taking advantage of the support for leaning throughout longer performances.

The balcony often provides slightly less crowded conditions than the main floor. You can move more freely and savor more personal space. Many guests also appreciate this area for its balance between good views and comfortable positioning.

Since the balcony is part of the larger acoustic design, the audio quality here remains excellent. You won’t sacrifice sound quality or sight lines by choosing this elevated area.

VIP Section

Select events feature VIP sections, which are exclusive areas that offer enhanced views and, in some cases, a private bar. The packages may also include meet-and-greet opportunities with performers. These experiences appeal to dedicated fans celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or other milestones.

These tickets command premium prices, and you must purchase VIP tickets specifically to access these exclusive areas. Check the ticket listings when buying to see if VIP options are available for your desired show.

Fixed and Bar Seating

As mentioned, some shows provide limited seating at the bars, but these seats are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bar seats provide convenient access to refreshments throughout the show. You can remain seated while enjoying performances, though a dense crowd could partially obstruct your view. These spots work best for casual viewing rather than immersive concert experiences.

For some shows, limited seating becomes available at the back of the general admission area.  If you require seating for medical or accessibility reasons, you can contact the venue in advance to see your options. You can also check your ticket platform for these details.

Accessible Accommodations

The Aggie Theatre provides ADA-approved accommodations for its guests who require accessibility assistance, but it is often helpful to call the venue as soon as possible after purchasing your tickets to arrange things. The venue can work with guests to identify appropriate viewing locations based on individual needs, coordinate accessible entry points, and ensure comfortable positioning.

The venue maintains ADA compliance in all its public areas and can assist you with navigation or other needs throughout its events. The standing-room area makes it simple to access the main floor, and the gradient makes it easier to find a suitable viewing position.

NOTE: The above seating map can be subject to change. This depends on the type of event. Always check the seating map when selecting your tickets for each individual event.
